Privacy Policy
Jobsmyth is a private pilot run by Richard Abiona. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@jobsmyth.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider) and the invite code you used.
- What you give us to find and prepare jobs: your resumes, extra experience, saved answers, country, work authorization, sponsorship needs, target roles, locations, work modes and salary floor.
- What Jobsmyth creates for you: job matches, scores, tailored resumes, cover letters and your application tracker.
- Basic usage records: when you signed up and when you agreed to these terms, and how many packets you prepare each day, so we can run the pilot within its limits.
How we use it
- To find open jobs you are eligible for and score how well they fit you.
- To prepare application packets using only facts from your own materials.
- To send account emails such as confirmation and password reset links.
- To learn from the pilot: cost, load and your feedback.
We do not sell your information, show you ads or apply to jobs for you.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: account login and database.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: account emails.
- Anthropic: the AI model that reads your resume and job postings to score matches and draft packets. Anthropic does not use data sent through its commercial API to train its models by default.
These providers may store data in the United States. If you live in Nigeria, your data is transferred to the United States to provide the service, and we handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Your choices
- See, download or correct your information at any time.
- Delete your account, which deletes your resumes, matches, packets and tracker.
- Withdraw your consent by deleting your account or writing to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record.
Changes
This is a draft for the pilot. If we change it in a way that matters, we’ll email you before the change takes effect.
